"The word Graphikasana helped me unite the graphic element, present in my work, with the poses (asanas) that hatha yoga describes. The asanas are practiced in 7 large groups. The order often varies depending on the design of the instructor or school, usually begin with the stretching poses to give way to balance, inversions, backbends, twist, forward bends and so on until reaching the poses of closure and relaxation".
